Angela's former husband's grandfather was part of the Choctaw tribe and she believes we should follow the American Indian traditions and honor our planet. Clean air and water are the foundation of all life and an important part of our tourism industry in Florida. Angela will work to reign in polluters who cause red tide, algae blooms, and phosphate spills. She will also work to provide environmental justice to make sure all neighborhoods are safe to live in without fear of lead poisoning and other environmental hazards that come with poverty. Angela will also work to make sure every Hillsborough County resident will have access to clean drinking water as more people relocate to Tampa. It is her goal to get people to return to the land and plant fruits and vegetables in community and backyard gardens starting with children.
